NYWFIA Sister Organization - LAIOG

On April 5, 2006 NYWFIA President James D. Dadamio was invited to address the delegation of the Local Authority Investigation Officers Group at their National Housing Benefit Fraud Conference in York, England. Over 300 members- all of whom are involved in the detection and prosecution of benefit fraud throughout England, Scotland and Wales attended the 2 day training.

Many ideas were shared and a partnership between NYWFIA and LAIOG was forged. While technology increases our access throughout the world, it also allows welfare fraud to have no boundaries. As advances in technology are developed, the bond with our international partners in the United Kingdom will progress as well.
